In order to take payments via cards securely we have allowed a Stripe account to be added.


What is Stripe?

Stripe is a multi-platform service that allows you to take card payments, it is free to join and will only charge when you take payments at a rate of 2.4% + 20p per successful transaction. The funds are then transferred into a bank account of your choosing on a 7 day rolling basis. Stripe works on computers, laptops and tablets so you can take payments at any time from anywhere. How do I get Stripe?

To start using Stripe you can register on their website at https://dashboard.stripe.com/register and follow the on-screen instructions.

You will receive an email from stripe asking to verify your email address, 

  • Click on the link in email and follow the instructions. 
  • Add your Bank account details and Activate your account.

How do I use Stripe with OnBoard Pro

We have integrated stripe into OnBoard Pro so you may take payments easily and securely however in order to do so you will need to "link" your stripe account to your OnBoard Pro account. This may be done by inputting your API Key.



First log into your Stripe account and select "Your Account" in the top right.

In the list that appears select "Account Settings".





Select "API Keys" to view the keys for your account.


Here you will see a number of API keys for your account. The one you will want to provide us is the "Live Publishable Key". Highlight the key and "copy" it










Now that you have the key we need to put this into your OnBoard Pro Account. 


Log in to OnBoard Pro to see your Dashboard.
Select the "Finances" option on the Left hand navigation window.
Find the API key box at the bottom of the page
Paste the key you copied earlier into the box
Click on "Save Details"


You are now setup to use Stripe with OnBoard Pro.
